FAQ

Q: What is included in the registration fee?

A: The registration fee includes:
1. Bike leaders
2. Support vehicles
3. Snacks and drinks
4. Event souvenir (For early birds who sign up by 18th October!)

Q: I don't have a bike, what should I do?

A: Bike rental is available at an additional $10. Please do indicate in the registration form that you need a bike.

Q: If my rental bike breaks down halfway, can I get a new bike?

A: There will be some spare rental bikes. However, if you are bringing your own bike and need a replacement, we will need to collect from you an additional $15. So please do check that your bike is in working order before coming!

Q: I've not ride so far before, I'm afraid I can't finish the route.

A: That is the objective of this ride. To let riders who have not ride so far before to try out their 1st "century" ride. The route is especially designed such that the average distance between each rest stop is 15km. That is approximately the stretch of East Coast Park from end to end. And with us and other riders supporting you along, you are more assured of completing the ride! :)

Q: Should I train up for this ride?

A: Yes! You will defintely enjoy the ride better if you are to prepare for the ride. 120km is not too far, but still far enough to give you butt aches! Especially when you have not ride for a long time!

We have set aside some dates for training rides and also to get to you before the ride. Do refer to info above for dates and also check out our events calendar on more details of the training rides!

Q: What if I decided to give up?

A: It's no problem. Although we really hope that you can continue and ride all the way. If you have your own bike, you are to make your own way home. If you are on rental bike, you can just leave the bike with us and we'll transport back to East Coast Park. But subject to lorry space though.

Q: How fast are we going? Can I catch up?

A: The target average speed is around 22km/h. We will not go any faster. All riders are to be behind the front support vehicle. Noone is to overtake the front support vehicle. If you are really going slow, and the timeslot for the section is up but still want to continue, we will transport you to the next restpoint so you are able to continue the route from there.

Q: How many participants are you targetting?

A: We have a quota of 120 participants.

Q: I am going with a group of friends, can we be grouped together?

A: Yes of coz! But pls do let us know who your friends are.(FULL NAMES pls!)

Q: Do we get any certifications upon completing the ride?

A: Yes. But upon request!

Q: Ok! I'm ready for the challenge! How do I sign up?

A: Just click on REGISTRATION on the main page!
